Maple Ridge Elementary<\/strong><\/p>\n Friday, June 16, 2023<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CARNIVAL \u2013 WAS AMAZING<\/strong><\/p>\n Thank you to the many volunteers who helped make the MRE Carnival today a wonderful day.\u00a0 It was a delight to see so many students enjoying the games, the rides, and one another\u2019s company.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n LAST DAY EARLY DISMISSAL<\/strong><\/p>\n A friendly reminder that the last day of school for students is June 29th<\/sup>.\u00a0 It is an early dismissal at 12:00 pm on this day.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n CANDY & FREEZIE SALE<\/strong><\/p>\n There will be a Freezie sale after school on Monday June 26th.\u00a0 French Immersion students are fundraising for a Grade 7 trip to Quebec.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As usual, the sale will take place at the front entrance of the school<\/strong> and on the basketball court behind Mrs. Span and Mme Alliette\u2019s classrooms.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Freezies will cost $1<\/p>\n Candy will cost $2<\/p>\n <\/p>\n LEARNING CENTRE<\/strong><\/p>\n The last day for the Learning Centre that runs before and after school Monday to Wednesday is on June 21st<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n CANADIAN MULTICULTURALISM DAY <\/strong><\/p>\n The annual Canadian Multiculturalism Day will be held on June 24th<\/sup> from 10:00 am \u2013 2:00 pm at the Memorial Peace Park in Maple Ridge.\u00a0 At this fun and exciting event there will be multicultural performances, a fashion show, food trucks and tons of other free activities like face painting and a bouncy castle!
