If you are interested in ordering, please see the flyers attached to this Friday Blast, or the information your child brought home earlier this week. \u00a0Our fundraiser with Colibri ends on Monday, February 13th<\/sup>,<\/strong> so please make sure to place your order before then.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A few important details…<\/p>\n The Colibri fundraising website is different from the regular Colibri retail website. Please visit www.colibrifundraising. com<\/a> to place an online order.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n You will see our school\u2019s name when you check out. Please make sure to fill in all the required info to make sure your order comes to the school labeled and ready to enjoy!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n HEALTH AWARENESS<\/strong><\/p>\n Reminder: Health Awareness<\/strong> is for everyone entering our school \u2013 this includes staff, students, and visitors. Health awareness includes checking regularly for any symptoms of illness (including, but not limited to,\u00a0COVID-19 symptoms<\/a>) and staying home if ill.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n VALENTINES CANDY GUESSING JAR <\/strong><\/p>\n Thursday February 9th<\/sup>, Friday February 10th<\/sup> and Monday February 13th<\/sup> there will be a Valentine\u2019s Day candy guessing jar \u2013 guesses are $1 each.<\/p>\n Closest guess wins the whole jar.\u00a0 Prizes will be handed out on Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n USED SPIRIT WEAR WANTED! <\/strong><\/p>\n Do you have spirit wear that your child has outgrown?\u00a0 Please consider donating it back to the school.\u00a0 In the spring we will be selling new spirit wear and re-selling used spirit wear at a discounted price.\u00a0 You can start sending items anytime.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n BOOK FAIR \u2013 French (and English)<\/strong><\/p>\n On February 6th<\/sup> and 7th<\/sup> there will be a French Book Fair taking place.\u00a0 All classes can attend – there will be a good selection of English books available.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n JUMP ROPE FOR HEART<\/strong><\/p>\n Jump Rope for Heart is the\u00a0school FUNdraising event that nobody wants to skip<\/strong>. With so many students and staff utilizing online resources, it is crucial that we take steps to protect our personal information from potential cyber threats.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We want to remind everyone to be vigilant and never share SD42 credentials (user ID and password). It is also important to be extremely cautious when receiving messages that ask for personal information, no matter how legitimate they may appear.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Failing to protect personal information opens the door to online security threats, like phishing scams.\u00a0Phishing emails appear to be from a real source but are really from cyber criminals attempting to trick people into sharing sensitive information. In these messages, cyber criminals frequently use scare tactics, such as threatening arrest unless personal information is divulged.
