Wed., Apr. 2<\/strong>:\u00a0 World Autism Awareness Day<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 we invite everyone to wear<\/span><\/em><\/strong> blue<\/strong><\/span>!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

World Autism Awareness Day<\/strong> \u2013 April 2nd<\/sup> is a day to raise awareness of<\/span>\u00a0autism<\/a>\u00a0worldwide.\u00a0 It is a time where we are all encouraged to improve our knowledge and understanding of the different experiences and characteristics of individuals on the autism spectrum.\u00a0 It is also a day to showcase the value that autistic perspectives bring to our workplaces, educational spaces, and communities.\u00a0 When we wear blue<\/strong><\/span>, it’s not only about keeping the conversation going about autism but, it’s also making sure that those with autism and their families don’t feel alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Student Learning Surveys <\/strong>\u2013 If you have a student in Grade 4 or 7, parents are invited to complete a Student Learning Survey.\u00a0 This year, parents do not need a logon code to access the online Student Learning Survey.\u00a0 Electronic surveying is available until May 2nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 The website to access the electronic survey is<\/span>: www.bced.gov.bc.ca\/sat_survey\/access.htm<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0 Please do not<\/u> use Safari as there is currently a glitch with this browser.\u00a0 We invite you to take 15 minutes of your time to fill this out.\u00a0 The more parents who complete these surveys, the higher quality of feedback we will receive.\u00a0 Your input is appreciated.<\/span><\/p>\n
