Wow!\u00a0 Last week was a very full and exciting first week back.\u00a0 Our teachers are busy planning upcoming field trips and presenters.\u00a0 Be sure to check your emails regularly if you can help volunteering in any capacity.\u00a0 Thank you to the PAC for organizing and implementing our first successful children\u2019s clothing swap on Sunday.\u00a0 What a wonderful way to support our families while keeping clothing out of the landfill!\u00a0 Please review the information below for some details about the upcoming week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Black Excellence Day \u2013 Wed., Jan. 15 <\/strong>\u2013 As a lead up to Black History Month,\u00a0Black Excellence Day\u00a0is a day to rejoice Black history and learn about Black stories, Black art and Black people, and a day to stand in unity by wearing black.\u00a0\u00a0This Wednesday is Black Excellence Day, and we invite you and our students<\/strong>\u00a0to participate by wearing black on that day<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Primary Science Fair<\/strong> \u2013 Parents are invited to attend our Primary Science Fair Open House and visit classes on Thursday, January 30th<\/sup> from 1:30 \u2013 2:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0 Please note that students must remain in their class with their projects during this time.\u00a0 Students will not be allowed to visit other classes with their parents.\u00a0 We hope to see you there!<\/span><\/p>\n
