Thank you, and we look forward to our primary cross country event!<\/p>\n Student Learning Surveys <\/strong>\u2013 If you have a student in Grade 4 or 7, parents are invited to complete a Student Learning Survey.\u00a0 This year, parents do not need a logon code to access the online Student Learning Survey.\u00a0 Electronic surveying is available until May 3rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 The website to access the electronic survey is:\u00a0 http:\/\/www.bced.gov.bc.ca\/sat_survey\/access.htm<\/a>.\u00a0 We invite you to take 15 minutes of your time to fill this out.\u00a0 The more parents who complete these surveys, the higher quality of feedback we will receive.\u00a0 Your input is appreciated.<\/p>\n Registration for Summer Learning, Apr. 18 to May 9<\/strong> \u2013 Parents can register for English or French elementary summer learning and\/or secondary summer learning through the parent portal between noon April 18th<\/sup> and 3pm on May 9th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Accompanying the elementary summer learning, which is being hosted at Laity View Elementary, there are Afternoon Multi-Sport Camps from 12:20 \u2013 2:20 pm.\u00a0 These registered camps offer drills, games, and activities to develop teamwork and sport skills at all levels.\u00a0 For more information about summer learning, please review the flyer at classes for next year.\u00a0 Please be assured that staff devote considerable time, care and attention to this process.\u00a0 This very complex and lengthy responsibility occurs over several weeks and continues into September when class placements are finalized.<\/p>\n Throughout the year, there have been many opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss each child.\u00a0 Staff work together to consider the following criteria very carefully:\u00a0social emotional skills and relationships, <\/strong>as well as learning styles, strengths, and needs.<\/strong>\u00a0 Our goal is to create safe and engaging inclusive classrooms that balance these factors, as equitably as possible.<\/p>\n If you feel there is further<\/u> information to consider about your child, you may submit input to
