February 13 \u2013 27<\/strong>:\u00a0 Grade 8 Transfer Period\/Registration<\/p>\n Mon., Feb. 19<\/strong>:\u00a0 Family Day Holiday \u2013 School Closed<\/strong><\/p>\n Tues., Feb. 20<\/strong>:\u00a0 School Based Non-Instructional Day<\/strong> \u2013 no school for students<\/p>\n Feb. 21 \u2013 July 7<\/strong>:\u00a0 Kindergarten Late Registration<\/p>\n Wed., Feb. 28<\/strong>:\u00a0 Pink Shirt Day!<\/strong>\u00a0 The leadership team invites you to wear pink<\/strong> on Wednesday, February 28th<\/sup> to support and promote kindness and inclusivity.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Grade 8 Registration<\/strong> \u2013 All Grade 8 registration for the 2024-25 school year will be done online through the Parent Portal<\/u>.\u00a0 The Grade 8 Transfer Period will open at 12:00 noon February 13th<\/sup><\/strong>.\u00a0 Deadline for completing a request for the Grade 8 Transfer Period is February 27th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Families with children currently enrolled in a Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows School District elementary school should submit an Existing Student Transfer Request<\/em><\/strong> in the Grade 8 Transfer Period.\u00a0 Read the Grade 8 Transfer Period Information 2024\/25<\/strong><\/a> tab on the school district website for more details.<\/p>\n Three Way Reporting Conferences, Mar. 14 (early dismissal at 11:30am) and Mar. 15<\/strong> \u2013 Our teachers have put out a sign up for term 2 conferences on the parent portal.\u00a0 You have the option to conference in person or online.\u00a0 Please be sure you sign up during the allotted time if your teacher has asked for online\/in person conferences to be separated.\u00a0 This is an important time where your child will be showing their learning for the term and setting goals for term 3.\u00a0 As such, please try to find alternated arrangements for your other children.<\/p>\n SD42 Accessibility Survey<\/strong>:\u00a0 The district is inviting feedback from students, staff, and families on accessibility barriers in the district. These barriers can range from access to a school program, building, or school information, to the ability to receive a needed service or support.
