Wow!\u00a0 Last week was a very full and exciting first week back.\u00a0 Our teachers are busy planning upcoming field trips and presenters.\u00a0 Be sure to check your emails regularly if you can help volunteering in any capacity.\u00a0 Please review the information below for some details about the upcoming week.<\/p>\n

Jan. 15 \u2013 Mar. 15<\/strong>:\u00a0 Grade 5 Middle Years Development Instrument Timeframe<\/p>\n

Mon., Jan. 15:\u00a0 Black Excellence Day \u2013 we invite everyone to wear black!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tues., Jan. 16<\/strong>:\u00a0 Ski and Snowboard field trip \u2013 all day (for those students registered)<\/p>\n

January 17 \u2013 22<\/strong>:\u00a0 Kindergarten Choice Registration (French Immersion, Montessori)<\/p>\n

Fri., Jan. 19<\/strong>:\u00a0 12:25 Pizza Hot Lunch (pre-order required)<\/p>\n

Black Excellence Day \u2013 Mon., Jan. 15 <\/strong>\u2013 As a lead up to Black History Month,\u00a0Black Excellence Day\u00a0is a day to rejoice black history and learn about black stories, black art and black people, and a day to stand in unity by wearing black.\u00a0\u00a0This Monday is Black Excellence Day, and we invite you and our students<\/strong>\u00a0to participate by wearing black on that day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wheelhouse Program Online Information Night, Jan. 25 and 29 at 7:00 pm<\/strong> \u2013 This program of choice located at Alouette Elementary is a classroom where Grade 6 and 7 students are both challenged and supported in becoming life-long learners and responsible citizens.\u00a0 Students who are currently in Grade 5 are eligible for Sept. 2024.\u00a0 Preregistration is required for the virtual information sessions.<\/p>\n
