And <\/strong><strong>Last day of school before Christmas Break<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Dec. 25<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Jan. 5<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>:\u00a0 Christmas Break<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mon., Jan. 8, 2024<\/strong>:\u00a0 Welcome back!\u00a0 School reopens after Christmas Break<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>January 9 \u2013 13<\/strong>:\u00a0 <strong>Kindergarten Sibling Registration<\/strong> (for general <u>and choice<\/u> programs) \u2013 Any child who turns 5 years old in 2024 (born in 2019) with a sibling at Laity View Elementary is eligible to register for the 2024\/25 school year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>January 10 \u2013 12<\/strong>:\u00a0 Kindergarten Environmental School Registration<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>January 17 \u2013 22<\/strong>:\u00a0 <strong>Kindergarten Choice Registration<\/strong> (French Immersion, Montessori)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Charitable Donations <\/strong>\u2013 School District 42 is a registered charitable organization and provides the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows with an opportunity to fund local school priorities.\u00a0 It is structured to support both district-wide and school-based fundraising efforts.\u00a0 Donations of $25 or more received from individuals or organizations other than charitable organizations are eligible to receive an official donation receipt for income tax purposes.\u00a0 As a registered charitable organization, the school district can accept donations towards specific programs and projects;
