Staff work together to consider the following criteria very carefully:\u00a0\u00a0<b>social emotional skills and relationships<\/b>,\u00a0as well as\u00a0<b>learning styles, strengths and needs<\/b>.\u00a0Our goal is to create safe and engaging inclusive classrooms that balance these factors, as equitably as possible.\u00a0If you feel there is further information to consider about your child, you may submit\u00a0input\u00a0to the principal in writing by June 5, 2019.\u00a0<u>Please refrain from requesting specific teachers or peers by name.<\/u>\n<p><b><u>Next Year Bell Schedule<\/u><\/b>\u2013\u00a0We\u2019ve had a change in our schedule for next year to accommodate specific provisions negotiated with teachers.\u00a0<u>The start time and end times will be the same<\/u>.\u00a0\u00a0Recess and lunch will change slightly to accommodate these provisions.\u00a0\u00a0Recess will start 10 minutes later (10:20-10:35) and Lunch will start 10 minutes earlier (11:50-12:30).\u00a0\u00a0Please see Mr. Raible for questions or concerns.\u200b<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Fish Fundraiser<\/u><\/b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Thank you to those families that participated in our fish fundraiser, 146 fish were purchased raising $1300. \u00a0Please be sure to bring your fish to the office and put them in the large box\u00a0located.by the sign in sheets. \u00a0The ones that are already in sure look great!! \u00a0There are still a few fish left to purchase for $8 \u2013 contact the office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><u>Me to we<\/u><\/b>\u2013\u00a0The Me to We team is selling handmade Rafiki Bracelets for $10<\/p>\n<p><b>Where?<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Mr. Moran\u2019s and Mrs. Hoogstins amphitheatres<\/p>\n<p><b>When?<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0May 9-10 at lunch<\/p>\n<p><b>Why?<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Help mothers in Kenya create a sustainable income for herself and her community<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Grade 7\u00a0<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The grade 7 students will be hosting a pizza lunch for the entire school on May 23<sup>rd<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0All proceeds go towards their leaving celebration in July.<\/li>\n<li>Next committee meeting is May 13 at 6:30pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><u>PAC EVENTS<\/u><\/b><b><u>:<\/u><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Cookbooks &#8211;\u00a0<\/b>Delivery will be on Thursday, May 9<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0Pick up after school by the library.<\/li>\n<li><b>Hot Lunch &#8211; \u00a0<\/b>There will be 2 Hot Lunches in May! \u00a0 May 17 will be Boston Pizza and May 31 is TBD.<\/li>\n<li><b>Popcorn Day &#8211; \u00a0<\/b>Our next Popcorn Day is Wednesday May 8! We will be selling bags of popcorn for $1 and will deliver it to the classrooms before recess.
