Staff work together to consider the following criteria very carefully:\u00a0\u00a0<strong>social emotional skills and relationships,\u00a0<\/strong>as well as<strong>\u00a0learning styles, strengths and needs.<\/strong>\u00a0Our goal is to create safe and engaging inclusive classrooms that balance these factors, as equitably as possible.\u00a0If you feel there is further information to consider about your child, you may submit\u00a0input\u00a0to the principal in writing by June 5, 2019.\u00a0<em>Please refrain from requesting specific teachers or peers by name.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Me to we<\/u><\/strong>\u2013 The Me to We team is selling handmade Rafiki Bracelets for $10<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mr. Moran\u2019s and Mrs. Hoogstins amphitheatres<\/p>\n<p><strong>When?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thursday May 9 and Friday May 10 at Lunch<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Help mothers in Kenya create a sustainable income for herself and her community<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Grade 7 <\/u><\/strong>\u2013The grade 7 students will be hosting a pizza lunch on May 23<sup>rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 All proceeds go towards their leaving celebration in July.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Next Year Bell Schedule<\/u><\/strong>\u2013 We\u2019ve had a change in our schedule for next year to accommodate specific provisions negotiated with teachers.\u00a0<u>The start time and end times will be the same<\/u>.\u00a0 Recess and lunch will change slightly to accommodate these provisions.\u00a0 Recess will start 10 minutes later (10:20-10:35) and Lunch will start 10 minutes earlier (11:50-12:30).\u00a0 Please see Mr. Raible for questions or concerns.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>PAC EVENTS<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cookbooks: <\/strong>Be sure to order your cookbooks before the deadline of April 7th. They will be delivered in time for Mother\u2019s Day.\u00a0$15 each.\u00a0 Delivery will be on Thursday, May 9<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0Pick up after school by the library.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hot Lunch:\u00a0<\/strong>There will be 2 Hot Lunches in May! \u00a0 May 17 will be Boston Pizza and May 31 is TBD.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Popcorn Day: <\/strong>Our next Popcorn Day is Wednesday May 8! We will be selling bags of popcorn for $1 and will deliver it to the classrooms before recess.
