The project will run from Jan. 7th\u00a0 to Feb. 13th.\u00a0 Please send your donations to one of our 4 Kindergarten classrooms.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>PINK SHIRT DAY &#8211;<\/u><\/strong>It\u2019s time to launch Kindness Counts T-shirt sales to make sure everything arrives before Pink Shirt Day, which takes place on February 27<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019.\u00a0 This year\u00a0two colour choices- pink and dark grey- are available.\u00a0The price is\u00a0$10 \/ shirt and $30 \/ hoodie with all profits used for SD42&#8217;s\u00a0student led COR event in May where students participate in a day of kindness giving back to the community.\u00a0 Please look for the portal announcement with the attached order form and return the form and money\u00a0to the school by <strong>Wednesday, January 23.\u00a0 <\/strong>Thanks for celebrating kindness in our schools. &#8211; The Kanaka Creek Student\u00a0Voice Team<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>SASQUATCH MOUNTAIN RESORT PASSES<\/u><\/strong>\u2013 Complimentary passes were donated by Sasquatch Mountain Resort to all our students in Grades 1-7.\u00a0 These passes can be presented at the ticket counter and exchanged for a day pass. \u00a0\u00a0If your child in grade 1-7 did not receive a pass, please check with your child\u2019s teacher as they may be planning a class activity.\u00a0 If you would like more information about the resort visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sasquatchmountain.ca\/\">www.sasquatchmountain.ca<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION AND REGISTRATION FOR C\u2019USQUNELA ELEMENTARY <\/u><\/strong>Registration for kindergarten and c\u2019usqunela Elementary begins January 2019:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>c\u2019usqunela Elementary \u2013 Registration for <u>kindergarten to Grade 7<\/u>opens January 7<\/strong><strong>&#8211; <\/strong>c\u2019usqunela Elementary registration is open to students who will be in kindergarten through to Grade 7 in September 2019 who want to register in this new school, located at 24093 \u2013 104th Avenue, Maple Ridge. c\u2019usqunela Elementary is scheduled to open for the 2019\/20 school year. Open for siblings of students already attending the desired elementary school (currently in grades K-6).<\/li>\n<li><strong>FEB 1-4: <em>Choice Registration<\/em><\/strong>.
