<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>*This can take 1 day to 2 weeks to obtain and cannot be requested last minute*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>See below<\/p>\n<p><strong>How long are my documents good for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Criminal Record Check: Valid for a Maximum of 5 Years, depending on date of issue.<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer Form:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Parents &#8211; Valid for as long as your student attends Kanaka Creek Elementary.<\/p>\n<p>All other volunteers \u2013 Valid for current school year only<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Volunteer Driver Form: Expires July 31<sup>st<\/sup> every year <u>or sooner if your driver\u2019s licence or insurance expires prior to July 31<sup>st<\/sup> . <\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>Kanaka Creek Criminal Record Check Options<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>*These processes can take 1 day to 2 weeks to obtain and cannot be requested last minute*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Option 1: Using BC Service Card<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Criminal Record Check Application Process<\/p>\n<p>To ensure a smooth and efficient process for submitting criminal record checks, please follow the guidelines provided in this section.<\/p>\n<p>Access Code and Secure Link<\/p>\n<p>Kanaka Creek has a <strong>unique access code<\/strong> and secure link to provide to applicants to submit their criminal record checks online.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Link: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/justice.gov.bc.ca\/criminalrecordcheck\/\">https:\/\/justice.gov.bc.ca\/criminalrecordcheck\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our access code is\u00a08ZETXHW4YM <strong>(This code is only good for volunteers of Kanaka Creek Elementary)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants then follow the link and enter the organization access code to access the online application for a criminal record check.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organization Information<\/strong> \u2013 Job Title- Enter <strong>Volunteer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Term of use<\/strong>&#8211; Must scroll all the way to the bottom, and <strong>check that you have read and that you accept the above<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The applicant <strong>MUST<\/strong> choose to have their ID verified using their BC Services Card login option. <strong>Do not use the \u201cContinue without option.\u201d\u00a0 <\/strong>If you choose not to use the BC Service Card option, please come by the front entrance and pick up letter to have the Criminal record check done through the local RCMP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Login with your BC Service Card<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Follow all the required instructions<\/p>\n<p>An email will be sent to you once the process has been completed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Option 2- Obtain a copy through the local RCMP<\/u><\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Please come by the front entrance and pick up letter to have the Criminal record check done through the local RCMP.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Option 3: Existing Criminal Record Checks<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nVolunteers may already have a recent Criminal Record Check through another organization or employer (for example, a daycare, sports association, or community organization).
