Dear Highland Park Elementary families,<\/p>\n

The Highland Park Elementary Playground survey is now live: https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/7VNJJPG<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The survey will close at 4 p.m. on<\/strong> Monday, April 22, 2024<\/strong>. Survey results will be shared with the school community through the Parent Portal and on our school website.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the purpose of this survey is to reach a clear consensus on our community\u2019s wishes with respect to the replacement of the end-of-life playground. Specifically, we would like to know if you support a phased<\/strong> implementation of playground improvements (purchasing one item at a time as funds are raised), or if you would prefer to wait until all the funds are raised before the whole<\/strong> playground is replaced. It is anticipated that the full playground replacement cost will range from $165K-$200K for the equipment, plus funds for escalation, taxes, site preparation and contingency.<\/p>\n

The survey includes an overview of the pros and cons of each approach so that you can make an informed decision. For your convenience, a copy of the background information and survey question has been posted to the school website at https:\/\/elementary.sd42.ca\/highlandpark\/playground-survey\/<\/a>. You can use the translate tool in the top right corner of this page to access a translation in your preferred language.<\/p>\n
