Instruction is mandated for all BC students by the <\/span><span id=\"text_wIFa8pXh-Y-\" class=\"TextBodySpecial\">Ministry of Education<\/span><span id=\"text_JdFa8pHi-Y-\" class=\"\">, and it is included in the<\/span><span id=\"text_WWFa8p1i-Y-\" class=\"TextBodySpecial\"> Physical and Health Education<\/span><span id=\"text_X_Fa8png-Y-\" class=\"\"> program. On occasion, some schools bring in experts in the field to address the topic with the school community. We are please to inform you that this year, our PAC has sponsored for Corinne Underwood of <\/span><a id=\"text_ktEa8pXg-Y-\" class=\"TextBodySpecialEmph color_TextEmph\" href=\"https:\/\/choicesforsexualhealth.com\/choices-for-sexual-health-school-programs#elementary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Choices for Sexual Health<\/a><span id=\"text_7CFa8pHh-Y-\" class=\"\"> to visit the school to work with parents and students in kindergarten to Grade 7.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"paragraph_SEY5aSVQZfA\" dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"text_rHR1FGrHHG8\" class=\"\">There will be a <\/span><span id=\"text_2BR1FGbHHG8\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">presentation for parents<\/span><span id=\"text_RVR1FGLIHG8\" class=\"\"> on Tuesday, <\/span><span id=\"text_eOR1FG5IHG8\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">November 14 <\/span><span id=\"text_fsQ1FGrGHG8\" class=\"\">from <\/span><span id=\"text_slQ1FGbGHG8\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">7:00-8:30 pm<\/span><span id=\"text_F4R1FGLHHG8\" class=\"\"> in our school library.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"paragraph_f7Y5aSFQZfA\" dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"text___aa2e3DNT8\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">Student presentations<\/span><span id=\"text_n4aa2eJDNT8\" class=\"\"> will take place during classes <\/span><span id=\"text_aBaa2eZDNT8\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">on November 20 &amp; 21<\/span><span id=\"text_NIaa2epDNT8\" class=\"\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"paragraph_s0Y5aS-QZfA\" dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"text_vig-Q7SXuKC\" class=\"\">If you do <\/span><span id=\"text_6cg-Q7CXuKC\" class=\"TextBodySpecialEmph color_TextEmph\">not<\/span><span id=\"text_Vwg-Q7yXuKC\" class=\"\"> wish for your child to attend, we ask that you <\/span><span id=\"text_ipg-Q7iXuKC\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">notify our school office by returning the completed form no later than Wednesday, November 15<\/span><span id=\"text_58h-Q7SYuKC\" class=\"\">. <\/span><span id=\"text_I1h-Q7CYuKC\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">IMPORTANT <\/span><span id=\"text_hLh-Q7yYuKC\" class=\"\">-&gt; <\/span><span id=\"text_uEh-Q7iYuKC\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">Please to ensure you check off &#8220;\u221a&#8221; the corresponding section\/s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"paragraph_RmY5aSlRZfA\" dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"text_3b_qmmlfHi7\" class=\"\">Please see the (green) paper copy of the form below sent home with students.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each year, throughout BC, students in elementary grades receive instruction in sexual health education.
