The first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 6th<\/sup><\/strong>from 12:30-2:20pm<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0Students only attend for the\u00a0afternoon<\/u>\u00a0on the first day. Regular school days begin on Wednesday, September 7th<\/sup>\u00a0with the school day being 8:30am-2:20pm. Please note the District adjustment back to our previous\u00a0dismissal time of 2:20pm<\/u>\u00a0and\u00a0not\u00a0<\/i><\/b>2:25pm.<\/p>\n Kindergarten students will follow the gradual entry schedule given to them in June.<\/p>\n Returning students go back to their last years teacher\/classroom for this first week.\u00a0\u00a0Our goal is to move into our new classroom communities on Monday, September 12th<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0Signs and maps will be placed around the school as students will be lining up at outside doors or other dedicated areas.\u00a0\u00a0New students will line up at the front doors of the school and be dismissed at the front door on the first day.\u00a0\u00a0After that, they will be temporarily placed in a Homeroom class for the remainder of the week.<\/p>\n Please inform the office if your child will not be attending on September 6th<\/sup>\u00a0using the parent portal, or by leaving a message on our office answering machine to help us confirm student\u2019s enrollment in a timely manner.<\/p>\n Important note:\u00a0\u00a0our\u00a0school lunch program will\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be available for the first week back<\/u>\u00a0(September 6-9), however snacks will be available if needed.\u00a0\u00a0Please send your child with a lunch.<\/p>\n From our Glenwood Family to yours, we hope you enjoy the remaining days of summer.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.<\/p>\n Michelle Davis\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Dan Katz<\/p>\n Principal\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Vice-Principal<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We look forward to seeing our new and returning families and hope you have all had an enjoyable, safe summer.
