Although we appreciate students being active, we have to stress that we need them to be safe:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

  1. Students need to walk\/push their scooters on school property. (Once off school property, they should wear helmets and display respectful and safe “scooting” behaviour for their own and others’ protection.)<\/li>\n
  2. We have congested areas outside the building before and after school, and it is not safe to ride scooters among parents and students.<\/li>\n
  3. Students are not allowed riding scooters on the walkways before and after school and\/or in the hallways at anytime.<\/li>\n
  4. Reminder too, that before 8:30 am and after 2:20 pm we are not providing supervision outside.<\/li>\n
  5. Students are strongly discouraged to swing the scooters in circles, as this could injure bystanders and other pedestrians.<\/li>\n
  6. Students are reminded to lock scooters up on the bike rack, rather than store them inside the building\/office.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
