Parents and caregivers attending StrongStart BC will participate with their children in organized sessions like story time and circle time. They will also be able to participate in free play, arts, early literacy, and information sharing, and will help choose and serve healthy snacks. Parents and caregivers are likely to discover new ways to support their children\u2019s learning at home, and may make valuable connections with others attending the centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the benefits of StrongStart?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The benefits of StrongStart include: increasing children\u2019s exposure to literacy and play; providing information about parenting and community resources; providing a fun and healthy learning environment that benefits the whole family; and recognizing parents as their children\u2019s first and most important teacher.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hours<\/strong><br \/>\nOur program runs <strong>Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am \u2013 11:30<\/strong>. Families are welcome to drop in at whatever time meets their needs. The centre follows the regular school calendar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Facilitator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Tracy Robinson<\/strong>\u00a0 is a licensed Early Childhood Educator and has been working in the early learning field for nine years. Tracy is married and is blessed with two children.
