SUMMARY:Body Science Education - Parent Presentation
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, throughout BC\, students in elementary grades receive instruction in sexual health education. Instruction is mandated for all BC students by the Ministry of Education\, and it is included in the Physical and Health Education program. On occasion\, some schools bring in experts in the field to address the topic with the school community. We are please to inform you that this year\, our PAC has sponsored for Corinne Underwood of Choices for Sexual Health to visit the school to work with parents and students in kindergarten to Grade 7. \nThere will be a presentation for parents on Tuesday\, November 14 from 7:00-8:30 pm in our school library. \nStudent presentations will take place during classes on November 20 & 21. \nIf you do not wish for your child to attend\, we ask that you notify our school office by returning the completed form no later than Wednesday\, November 15. IMPORTANT -> Please to ensure you check off “√” the corresponding section/s. \nPlease see the (green) paper copy of the form below sent home with students.
