Welcome Back to School Fairview Parents!<\/div>\n

We hope you are all looking forward to having a fantastic year here at Fairview! With the school year just beginning, we\u2019d like to provide you with some information about the PAC! Please see the information provided below.<\/div>\n

We hope to see you at our Welcome Back BBQ this FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 6th from 1:15-2:20pm! Come join us for a free hot dog and popcorn!<\/b><\/div>\n

Who Are We?<\/b><\/div>\n
Parents, just like you! Each Parent \/ Guardian of a child attending Fairview Elementary School automatically becomes a PAC Member.\u00a0 PAC Executives, on the other hand, are those parents who have chosen to hold, and have been voted in to, an official position within the PAC.\u00a0 These include the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and DPAC Representative.<\/div>\n

What Do We Do?\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
-Think of ways we can make our school a better place.<\/div>\n
-We are the voices for parents to staff and administration.<\/div>\n
-Strive to make the Fairview Community a fun and safe place to learn.<\/div>\n
-Raise funds to help improve areas of Fairview Elementary that the school community believes are beneficial.<\/div>\n
-Give each individual division both a field trip and a class discretionary fund each year.<\/div>\n
-Plan regular hot lunch\/treat days.<\/div>\n
-Organize parent events such as BINGO, Trivia Night and the Welcome Back BBQ.<\/div>\n
-Organize a staff appreciation lunch at the end of the year.<\/div>\n
-Provide student education workshops and special presenters\/entertainment when opportunities arise.<\/div>\n
-FREE year end FUN DAY for all Fairview Students!<\/div>\n

When Do We Meet?<\/b><\/div>\n
Meetings for 2019\/2020 will be held every 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30pm.\u00a0 The benefit of attending is that you will be kept informed of what\u2019s happening in the school and you have an opportunity to make Fairview a better place for students, staff and parents.<\/div>\n

How Can You Get Involved?<\/b><\/div>\n
Come to a meeting and see what PAC is all about! Join our Facebook group to see our volunteer opportunities, or emailfairviewelempac@gmail.com<\/a> if you\u2019d like to help! We are always SO appreciative of any help and ideas you can provide!<\/div>\n

-Entertainment Books: all funds go towards a free PAC sponsored Fun Day in June<\/div>\n
-Spirit Wear: grab some Fairview gear for your child and support the Fairview Falcons wherever you go!<\/div>\n
-BINGO: this annual event will take place on November 22nd. More information to come!<\/div>\n
-Purdy\u2019s and Poinsettias: perfect for Christmas gifts and decor<\/div>\n
