Dear Eric Langton families,<\/p>\n

Starting June 19, 2025<\/strong>, construction will begin around Eric Langton Elementary to install new underground utilities and improve roadworks. This will affect school site access from June 19 to August 29, 2025<\/strong> (including the final weeks of this school year and most of summer break).<\/p>\n

Key Changes During Construction<\/h3>\n

School Access:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Main parking lots (off Edge Street) will be CLOSED after June 26, 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Alternative: Use street parking and enter via 227th Street entrance<\/li>\n
  • Pedestrian access remains open but will be rerouted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Road Impact:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • 121st Avenue (from Edge Street to 224th Street) \u2013 expect delays<\/li>\n
    • Edge Street (from 224th Avenue to Reg Franklin Park) \u2013 expect delays<\/li>\n
    • Flaggers will be on-site during work hours to help direct traffic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Still accessible:<\/strong> parks, daycares, and playgrounds (may have delays)<\/li>\n
      • Pedestrian access:<\/strong> available but follow posted detour signs<\/li>\n
      • Plan extra time:<\/strong> for drop-off, pick-up, and travel in the area<\/li>\n
      • Follow direction of flaggers:<\/strong> for your safety and the safety of others, please follow the direction of flaggers.<\/li>\n
      • Impacted property owners:<\/strong> property owners impacted by street work are being contacted by Yellowridge Construction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
