Dear Families,<\/p>\n

Please review the updates below to help things go well for the kids this week!<\/p>\n

Hallowe\u2019en Thursday<\/u> – <\/strong>To have a little fun we have encouraged students to dress up on Thursday.\u00a0 To begin the day our younger classes will have a school wide parade first thing in the morning. They will walk down the corridors and into the intermediate classrooms shortly after the bell between 8:40-9am. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the parade in the school hallways.<\/p>\n

With regard to weapon-like costume accessories and especially scary things, please save those for your evening\u2019s adventures.\u00a0 Thanks!<\/p>\n

  1. Scooters and Bikes<\/u> –<\/strong>\u00a0To make our school walkways as safe as possible we have asked students to walk scooters and bikes on the school walkways in the busy times before and after school.<\/li>\n
  2. Our common POD doors are the main entrance\/exits<\/u><\/strong> for students<\/strong><\/u> \u2013 To help students access the school more easily our school routine is for students to use their common POD doors when entering and exiting the building.\u00a0Whenever possible students are to use their classroom\/pod door to enter and exit the school.<\/li>\n
  3. Traffic Safety Update<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 A big thank you to all families for being so careful entering and exiting our school\u2019s parking lot each day. When dropping off and picking up please remember to drive as far down the main school driveway as possible before pulling over to the right side. When vehicles drive further into the driveway we are able to accommodate more vehicles during peak times.<\/li>\n
  4. Contacting the School<\/strong><\/span> \u2013<\/strong> If you need to contact us with questions or absence\/late information our school phone number continues to be: 604.466.6231\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Our school email is\u00a0 cqe_reception@sd42.ca<\/a>\u00a0 and can be found under the link on our school website.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We have now moved to only using the District\u2019s Parent Portal as our primary method to communicate school updates. Please check your Parent Portal account if you are not receiving updates through the portal and email.<\/p>\n
