I confirmed again late last week that the construction timeline for our new school is on track and <strong>the first day for students at c\u2019usqunela will be Wednesday September 25th. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I will send out details regarding our move to the new school site later this week. Please ensure that you have made alternate childcare arrangements for September 23<sup>rd<\/sup> and 24<sup>th<\/sup> as there is no school for students while staff set up our new school space.<\/p>\n<p>Details about what to expect this week and other updates are all listed below. We are looking forward to another exciting week with the kids!<\/p>\n<p>Sincerely, Mr. Wheatley<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>What to Expect THIS Week:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Regular school hours 8:30-2:20pm.<\/li>\n<li>We will continue to do a \u201csoft start\u201d each day with classrooms open from 8:15am onwards and attendance done slightly later.<\/li>\n<li>Students will begin to bring some of their personal school supplies back home later in the week. Please collect these items and bring them to c\u2019usqunela beginning Thursday September 26<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Important Upcoming Dates:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Friday September 20<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 Last day at our alternate school sites.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monday &amp; Tuesday September 23rd &amp; 24<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 <strong><u>No School for students<\/u> as staff will use these days to set up our new school space.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday September 25<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Our first school day together at c\u2019usqunela!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(We plan to set up morning routines on this special first day so that families can see the school on opening day as well. More details to come on Thursday!)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wednesday October 2<sup>nd<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 <strong>c\u2019usqunela<\/strong> <strong>Open House<\/strong> <strong>6 \u2013 7pm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(An opportunity for parents to meet teachers and further explore the school)<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Our Temporary School Office(s) &amp; Phone Number(s): <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For these first three weeks we will have secretaries working both at Albion and Webster\u2019s Corners schools. Mrs. Whittington will work in the main Albion Office and Mrs. Ulriksen will work out of our temporary office space across from the main Webster\u2019s Corners office.
