Dear Families,<\/p>\n

This morning we had an unfortunate incident where a dog bit one of our students who was walking down the sidewalk near the school\u2019s main entrance. Any families who are bringing their dogs onto school property to drop off children must ensure that they are under control at all times. For the safety of our students any reactive or unpredictable dogs cannot be on school property. If anyone has additional information regarding this upsetting incident please let me know in the office.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Other items to be aware of to ensure a good week for the kids are:<\/p>\n

  1. The PAC will be selling treats\u00a0after school this Thursday<\/strong> at the front and back of the school.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Treat items will range from $1-$3. Please bring small change to help the line move faster.<\/p>\n

    1. Albion Community Center\u2019s One Year Anniversary Celebration is on June 29th<\/sup><\/strong> and the flyer is attached<\/a>. There are some great activities for the kids including a 3 on 3 ball hockey tournament<\/u><\/strong>.The ACC has ordered fencing for the games to take place in their parking lot.\u00a0The tournament\u00a0is open to all intermediate students in grades 4-7 to enter a team of 3 or 4 players.\u00a0The games will run between 12:30 -4:00pm depending on how many teams enter.\u00a0Sign up\u00a0with Mrs.\u00a0Windblad\u00a0by Monday June 26th<\/sup>\u00a0end\u00a0of the school day. Please email\u00a0chelsea_windblad@sd42.ca<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0any\u00a0questions.<\/li>\n
    2. As a staff we worked extremely hard again this year to try and create an engaging and positive experience for the kids. We would really appreciate if families could take a couple of minutes to answer this very short survey on the link below to provide us some feedback about worked well and has made it a good year for your child(ren).
