Dear Families,<\/p>\n

If we you have had trouble reaching the school by phone the last couple of days please know we are not ignoring you (-: The School District is currently struggling with some intermittent phone connection issues at multiple schools and is working hard to resolve the issue.<\/p>\n

Secondly, we have lots of classroom field trips occurring over the next couple of weeks for the kids. Please watch your classroom communication\/information carefully and ensure the kids are prepared and dressed for the weather. On Wednesday (Gr.4 & 5) and on Thursday (Gr.6 & 7) we have a number of our student athletes competing in the District Intermediate Track Meet. If your son\/daughter is competing in this event please arrive early and leave lots of time to find parking. Event times are approximate and can begin earlier at times. Please see the message below from MRSS regarding parking.<\/p>\n

Lastly, please check out the PAC\u2019s last hot lunch day and\u00a0 the attached flyer regarding the Albion Community Center\u2019s Anniversary event celebrations on June 30th<\/sup> including a 3 on 3 road hockey tournament.<\/p>\n

  1. District Track Meet Parking Information from MRSS<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I\u2019m reaching out to you to please remind your parents once more that there is no parking for them on school grounds on Wednesday or Thursday for those families participating in the elementary track meet. We strongly advise them to carpool or walk if possible as parking is a little challenging at the best of times.<\/p>\n

    Parking available to them is street parking, the parking lot to the east of the school near the Curious Minds Daycare (at the far east corner of the school property) or possibly at the Karina LaBlanc Field off 224th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

    1. Albion Community Center\u2019s One Year Anniversary Celebration on June 29th<\/sup><\/strong> flyer is attached<\/a>. There are some great activities for the kids!<\/li>\n
    2. The final PAC Hot lunch day this year is June 26th<\/sup><\/strong>!\u00a0 Subway Ordering is open now and closes Sunday June 18th at 9 PM \u00a0https:\/\/munchalunch.com\/schools\/cusqunela<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Please make sure you complete your order with payment. Any unpaid orders are not included on the food\/class distribution report (ie. your child will NOT receive lunch if your order is not paid)<\/p>\n

      1. To help Mrs. Smith in the HIVE stay organized please return any student library books to the HIVE this week<\/u><\/strong> as well. Thank you!!!<\/li>\n
      2. Final PAC Meeting of this school year is this Thursday June 15th<\/sup>, 7pm in the HIVE. <\/strong>A draft agenda and the proposed budget was emailed out to parents. If you did not receive a copy, please email the PAC at\u00a0 cusqunelapac@gmail.com<\/a>.\u00a0 All parents and guardians of CQE students (including incoming Kindergarten students) are members of the PAC and are welcome and encouraged to attend meetings.\u00a0 \u00a0Hope to see you there!<\/li>\n
      3. If your family ordered K9 coffee<\/strong>, please note that due to unforeseen circumstances the shipping has been delayed. We will update you as soon as your order is ready for pick up. Thank you for your patience.<\/li>\n
      4. Our school\u2019s Lost & Found is now on display beside the gym<\/strong>. There are a number of great clothing items waiting to be collected. If your son or daughter is missing any clothing please make a point of stopping by the Lost and Found tables over the next couple of weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
