Dear Families,<\/p>\n

Please see below for information about the PAC\u2019s March hot lunch order day, coffee order pick up tomorrow, and the upcoming student term two conferences next week.<\/p>\n

  1. PAC March Hot Lunch is coming from Fuel Catering and is on March 10!!!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Ordering begins tomorrow<\/p>\n

    (Friday February 24th and closes on March 3)<\/p>\n

    Please make sure you complete your order with payment. Any unpaid orders are not included on the food\/class distribution report (ie. your child will NOT receive lunch if your order is not paid)<\/p>\n

    We are sorry, but no late orders will be accepted \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

    1. Did your family order Global coffee?<\/strong> The coffee order has arrived and will be ready for pick up tomorrow (Friday) between 1:30-2:45.<\/li>\n
    2. Term 2 Student Inclusive Conference are NEXT week on Thursday March 2nd<\/sup> (Early Dismissal 11:30am) and Friday March 3rd<\/sup> (all day)<\/strong>. Information regarding how to sign up for the conference has been sent home. Please sign up for\u00a0one\u00a0conference slot per child.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This year when you sign up for conferences the District booking system also has an \u201con line\u201d option. We ask that families ONLY select this \u201con line\u201d option if there is no way for them to come in for an in person conference.\u00a0In addition, we ask that families selecting this option confirm with their child’s teacher if that day\/time is available for an online option, as teachers are planning for a primarily “in person” student inclusive conference format.<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cIn Person\u201d conferencing is far more powerful and effective for student learning than an online video conference.<\/p>\n

      The power of the student inclusive reporting conference comes from the student, teacher, and parents sitting together to review the child\u2019s portfolio and discussing progress together. Compared to an \u201cin person\u201d conference, the online conferencing, does not provide the same opportunity for conversation and review of materials and progress.\u00a0We strongly encourage families to come into the school for a conference rather than request the on line option. We really want to see parents in person at the school to talk about, and celebrate, your child\u2019s progress and successes together.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Lost & Found Items are on tables by the gym!!!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        If your child(ren) has lost a jacket, hoodie, water bottle or any other clothing items please make a point of checking the lost and found tables when conferencing. We have some excellent clothing which we would love to get back to their homes!<\/p>\n
