Dear Families,<\/p>\n

We are starting to get busy again at c\u2019usqunela with a number of amazing opportunities for the kids around the building. This week many classes are learning about Polynesian dance and culture. In a couple of weeks, the primary classes will also be performing our first primary musical \u201cDisney Winnie the Pooh Kids.\u201d Please review the updates below to ensure you have all the information about our upcoming musical and other school events.<\/p>\n

  1. The next PAC meeting is scheduled for THIS Thursday, January 12th, 7pm in the HIVE. All parents and guardians of c\u2019usqunela students are members of the PAC and are welcome and encouraged to attend PAC meetings.<\/li>\n
  2. Our school\u2019s \u201cWinnie the Pooh Kids\u201d Primary Musical will be performed for parents on Wednesday January 25th<\/sup> and Thursday January 26th<\/sup> at 1pm on both days. If you have children in the primary grades they will present on one of these days. Please check below to confirm which day your child will be performing.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Additional information about the musical is on the attached flyer<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    January 25th<\/sup>:\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Woo, Ms. Jo, Grant, Kaake, Jacobson, Sylte, Franco, Fisher, Friesen<\/strong><\/p>\n

    January 26th<\/sup>: Charbonneau, Richardson, Affleck, Chou, Crowhurst, Smith, Pollock, King, Friesen <\/strong>(performs twice)<\/em><\/p>\n

    1. Next Friday January 20th<\/sup> will be Hawaiian Day<\/strong> at c\u2019usqunela. On this day we are inviting all students and staff to wear their best tropical wear\u2026 Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses, tacky tourist outfits or whatever makes you feel like you are on vacation!! The PAC is also going to be treating the kids to a hot dog each on this day!!! More details to follow (-:<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Registration Reminders! <\/strong>Thank you to all kindergarten families who registered during the sibling phase last week. We want to ensure we keep all of our c\u2019usqunela families together! Kindergarten general registration for new families will begin on February 1st<\/sup> at noon. If you know a family with a kindergarten child in our catchment area please encourage them to do so early to avoid disappointment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Lastly, registration for students going into grade 8 begins on February 2nd<\/sup> at noon. All families involved in this process will receive additional information closer to the date but should be make a note to register on this date to avoid disappointment.<\/p>\n
