Students and staff have been hard at work this term and we are now approaching our term one conference days where we get to celebrate successes and discuss student goals for next term.<\/p>\n
This year when you sign up for conferences the District booking system also has an \u201con line\u201d option. We ask that families ONLY select this \u201con line\u201d option if there is no way for them to come in for an in person conference. \u201cIn Person\u201d conferencing is far more powerful and effective for student learning than an online video conference. <\/strong><\/p>\n The power of the student inclusive reporting conference comes from the student, teacher, and parents sitting together to review the child\u2019s portfolio and discussing progress together. Compared to an \u201cin person\u201d conference, the online conferencing, does not provide the same opportunity for conversation, review of materials, and progress. We strongly encourage families to come into the school for a conference rather than request the on line option.
