{"id":1476,"date":"2021-01-21T11:03:22","date_gmt":"2021-01-21T19:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elementary.sd42.ca\/cusqunela\/?p=1476"},"modified":"2021-01-21T11:03:22","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T19:03:22","slug":"january-20th-update-to-families","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elementary.sd42.ca\/cusqunela\/january-20th-update-to-families\/","title":{"rendered":"January 20th Update To Families"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n<p>Just a couple of reminders and updates for this week.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Please remember that THIS Monday is a district wide Non Instructional Day (January 25th) and there is <strong>no school for students<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress1.blob.core.windows.net\/cusqunela\/2021\/01\/2021-web-Jan-flyer-cusqunela-Elementary.pdf\">PAC Global Coffee Fundraiser<\/a> is running again!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Please help us in raising funds for our school\u2019s playground.<\/li>\n<li>Online ordering is open until February 2nd. Pick up is on Monday February 8th at school from 1:30pm to 2:45pm <a href=\"https:\/\/globalcoffeefundraising.ca\/cusqunela\/\">https:\/\/globalcoffeefundraising.ca\/cusqunela\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>You can share this link with family and friends.<\/li>\n<li>Supporters can purchase coffee online. \u00a0They can choose to pay to have their coffee shipped directly to them (via Canada Post), or they can opt to have it shipped with the group order to the school, which is free to them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We appreciate your support!! The PAC<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Traffic Safety Update<\/strong> \u2013 Thank you to all drivers who are continuing as far down the school\u2019s main driveway as possible before pulling over to drop off and pick up students. It is allowing us to get many more vehicles through the school driveway in a safe and timely manner. <strong>We ask that all drivers continue to drive slowly and exercise caution<\/strong> when dropping off or picking up to keep the students as safe as possible in this congested area.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>We would like to ask that parents walking their children across the main driveway <strong>please make a point of using the school\u2019s two designated crosswalks<\/strong>. While this may not always be the most direct route, it is important for us all to collectively teach the kids good traffic safety habits, to reduce the risk of a serious accident.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Wheatley<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families, Just a couple of reminders and updates for this week.
