We anticipate that regular water service will be restored by <strong>Monday, November 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work to restore normal school operations. We look forward to welcoming students back tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/p>\n<p><em>3:00 p.m., October 26, 2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dear Blue Mountain families,<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your patience and understanding this morning as we managed an unexpected school closure.<\/p>\n<p>Our facilities department has determined that the loss of water service was caused by vandalism involving the school\u2019s water meter and its connecting pipes sometime over the weekend. A contractor is now on site completing the necessary repairs.<\/p>\n<p>While the repairs themselves are not expected to take long, the water system must undergo disinfection, flushing, and water-quality testing before regular water service can be restored. This process is expected to take approximately four days, during which time the building will remain without running water.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Blue Mountain Elementary <strong>will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27,<\/strong> while the district makes arrangements for temporary water and washroom facilities.
