If you have two spotters who will be trading off please make sure to send both volunteers to the announcers tent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each spotter must remain in their designated location <strong>for all races,<\/strong> so it is recommended that they bring a chair, knee high gumboots (to cross a creek on the intermediate day) and an umbrella (on the rainy days). An alternate route that may be less busy could be 132<sup>nd<\/sup> but it does still get quite congested at the roundabout by Maple Ridge Park. Please let parents know that if they have a child in grade seven, they will need to leave as soon as possible after school to ensure they are on time for the first race.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Cost<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is a $100 fee for all independent schools who wish to participate. This fee is applied to the costs involved in organizing this event. Please make all cheques payable to SD42<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Rabbits and Turtles<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are always looking for Rabbits and Turtles to help us on race day! It is especially difficult to get volunteers for our intermediate races.
