It helps us grow and glow through every season.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Families are encouraged to discuss the weekly affirmation at home with their child(ren).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Pancake Breakfast<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>A reminder that Monday morning our PAC is providing a pancake to all students.\u00a0 Students should eat a light breakfast as it will take time to feed over 500 students.<\/p>\n<p>Gluten free waffles will be served to students with a gluten allergy.<\/p>\n<p>Students are asked to bring their own reusable plate and a fork.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Coins for Kids<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThis week we are collecting Coins for Kids.\u00a0 Money donated will be given to the Ridge Meadows Christmas Hamper Society.\u00a0 Students can bring in the following:<\/p>\n<p>Monday- Nickels<br \/>\nTuesday- Dines<br \/>\nWednesday- Quarters<br \/>\nThursday- Loonies<br \/>\nFriday-Toonies and any other cash donations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Primary Christmas Concert \u2013 December 18th<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>The primary students of Albion Elementary proudly present:<br \/>\n<strong>\u201cHow Albion Saved Christmas\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 a fun-filled adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance Times:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thursday, <strong>December 18th at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ticket order forms will go home on Monday.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tickets: <strong>$2.00 per person<\/strong> (to support production costs)<\/li>\n<li>Each family may purchase <strong>two tickets per household<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Extra tickets (if available) will be offered starting <strong>Monday, December 15th<\/strong>. Payment must be received with the order form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>2025 Volleyball Season<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nCongratulations to our 3 Albion volleyball teams as their 2025 seasons come to an end.\u00a0\u00a0Thank you to Ms. Carr and Ms. Dobie for coaching our recreational co-ed team this year.\u00a0\u00a0The team showed great skill development and by the end of the season they had really jelled as a team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our girls\u2019 team, led by Ms. Lovell, competed in the girls\u2019 playoffs this past week.\u00a0\u00a0They played Yennadon and Glenwood, losing two close games to finish 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0in the league this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The boys\u2019 team and Ms. Matlock dealt with a lot of injuries this year to finish the season with a 4-4 record, just missing a chance to play for the championship.\u00a0\u00a0In the playoffs, they defeated Alexander Robinson and Harry Hooge to secure a 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0place standing this season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thank you to all of you who came out to support us this season.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Clothing Reminders<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022\u00a0 Please send <strong>extra clothes<\/strong>\u2014our back field is muddy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>With cold mornings, ensure your child wears a <strong>warm jacket<\/strong>.
