Please follow these safety guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter at a <strong>slow speed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <strong>\u201cKiss and Go\u201d<\/strong> drop-off area\u2014do not stop on the right side of the cones.<\/li>\n<li>Do <strong>not leave your vehicle<\/strong>; if you need to come inside, park in the neighborhood.<\/li>\n<li>Only vehicles with a <strong>parking pass<\/strong> may park on the left side after the crosswalk.<\/li>\n<li>The front lot is <strong>closed from 2:00 pm \u2013 2:30 pm<\/strong> for pick-up (exceptions for daycares, medical needs, diverse learners, or special circumstances\u2014apply for a permit at the office).<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>back lot is staff-only<\/strong>\u2014please do not drop off students there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions? You can also reach out to the dental program at your local public health unit\u202fat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraserhealth.ca\/Service-Directory\/Services\/Public-Health-Services\/dental-care\">Dental Care &#8211; Fraser Health<\/a> to learn about community resources and support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bc.doctorsofoptometry.ca\/library\/eye-exams-school-aged-children\/\">BC Doctors of Optometry\u00a0<\/a>(BCDO) recommends children receive their first eye exam when they are six to nine months old, with a follow up exam at least once between the ages of two and five, and then yearly once they enter school.\u00a0 You can find an optometrist accepting new patients near you on <a href=\"https:\/\/bc.doctorsofoptometry.ca\/find-a-doctor\/\">BCDO&#8217;s website<\/a>. In B.C., one basic eye exam per year is free up to the age of 18. Some optometrists may charge a user fee of about $35-50 per visit, so be sure to ask about any fees before you make an appointment. It is important to recognize hearing loss early and seek out testing and treatment if needed. Fraser Health\u2019s Public Health community audiologists provide free hearing services for children from birth to 19 years of age.
