As we approach the end middle of May our school calendar of events is becoming very busy.\u00a0 Please ensure that you take the time to review the weekly and upcoming events.\u00a0 If you have any questions, please ensure you reach out to your child’s classroom teacher.<\/p>\n

Last Call- <\/span>Class Placements
\n<\/u><\/strong><\/u>We are beginning to create our classes for next year. Please be assured that staff devote considerable time, care, and attention to this process. This very complex and lengthy responsibility occurs over several weeks and continues into September when class placements are finalized. Throughout the year, there have been many opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss each child. Staff work together to consider the following criteria very carefully:\u00a0\u00a0social emotional skills and relationships,\u00a0<\/strong>as well as\u00a0learning styles, strengths, and needs.<\/strong>\u00a0Our goal is to create safe and engaging inclusive classrooms that balance these factors, as equitably as possible. If you feel there is further information to consider about your child, you may submit input to Mr. Sheridan in writing by Friday, May 16.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0Please refrain from requesting specific teachers or peers by name as these submissions will not be reviewed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
