Fun was had by students in divisions 1-11 last week as they participated in learning how to curl during their PE sessions.<\/p>\n

Exciting News<\/strong><\/span>
\nOur Competitive Volleyball teams have qualified for the Final Four tournaments at Garibaldi Secondary on Wednesday, November 27th<\/sup> (Boys) and Thursday, November 28th<\/sup> (Girls).<\/p>\n

The boys are scheduled to play at 3:15pm versus Fairview on Wednesday.\u00a0 The girls are scheduled to play at 3:15pm versus MRCS on Thursday.\u00a0 The results of those games will determine their second game times for the last games of the season, either 5pm for the bronze game or 5:45 for the gold medal game (times approximate). Come on out and cheer the teams on! Go All Stars!<\/p>\n

Student Leadership<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe student leadership club is initiating a blanket drive to support the local SPCA.\u00a0 If you have any blankets you would like to donate in any size, please send the blankets to the school with your child or drop them off in the front office hallway area where you see the television.\u00a0 Your support for this student project and the local SPCA will be greatly appreciated.<\/div>\n
Because the SPCA is ‘Caring For Pets Just Like Yours’, the student leadership club is asking our students to bring a picture of their pet to be proudly displayed on a school bulletin board.\u00a0 We ask each pet picture to include your child(ren)’s name, division, and pet’s name.\u00a0 Let’s find out how many pictures of our children’s pets we can display at the school.\u00a0 The pet photos will be collected from your child’s classroom teacher.<\/div>\n

Winter After School Programs<\/strong><\/span>
\nRegistration for winter after-school programs will open at noon on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, and close on January 7, 2025, at 11 p.m.
\n<\/strong>Program information, fees, session dates and registration instructions for your\u00a0school\u00a0can be viewed in the attached flyer or on the district\u00a0website<\/a>.
\nAll registrations are on a first come, first serve basis. Programs may be cancelled due to low registration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Reminders
\n<\/strong><\/span>Student Inclusive Conferencing<\/strong>Teachers have their student inclusive conferencing schedules for December 5th and 6th now posted on the Parent Portal.\u00a0 If you have any questions regarding schedules, please ensure that you are in touch with your child\u2019s teacher.<\/div>\n
