{"id":2743,"date":"2024-03-11T17:55:09","date_gmt":"2024-03-12T00:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elementary.sd42.ca\/albion\/?p=2743"},"modified":"2024-03-11T19:19:05","modified_gmt":"2024-03-12T02:19:05","slug":"weekly-memo-march-11-15-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elementary.sd42.ca\/albion\/weekly-memo-march-11-15-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Memo March 11-15, 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was fantastic seeing everyone come into the school last week to celebrate their child&#8217;s second term successes.\u00a0 Classroom teachers will be sending home the paper copy of the second term report either by the end of the week or in the 1st few days once we return from spring break.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to all of our basketball teams for their hard work over the past three months.\u00a0 All players should be proud of their accomplishments.\u00a0 A huge thank you goes to Mrs. Matlock, Mr. Davis, Ms. Byrne, Ms. Bello, Mrs. Vis and Ms. Lovell for coaching our teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jump Rope Event<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Wednesday, March 13<sup>th<\/sup> Ms. Downes Div. 5 class will be hosting a jump rope event.\u00a0 The funds raised will go to BC Children\u2019s Hospital .\u00a0 The goal is to collect ~$1 per student\/ a total of\u00a0 $500.\u00a0 Donations will be collected this week from March 11- the morning of the 13<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lost and Found<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease ensure you take a minute to view this video of our <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress1.blob.core.windows.net\/albion\/2024\/03\/IMG_4094.mov\">Lost and Found<\/a>.\u00a0 Any unclaimed items will be donated to charity on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upcoming District Events<br \/>\n<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sd42.ca\/after-school-programs\/\" data-outlook-id=\"69ad8065-4711-41d4-b2d6-95718ee69531\">Link to After-school Program Information<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress1.blob.core.windows.net\/albion\/2024\/03\/Thriving-in-Kindergarten.pdf\">Thriving in Kindergarten<\/a>&#8211;
