It looks like there is snow and very cold weather on the way this coming week.\u00a0 Please be sure that your child(ren) come to school dressed appropriately to go outside.\u00a0 In the event of a school closure, due to weather, all information would be found on our school district website at www.sd42.ca<\/p>\n
A very warm welcome to Mrs. Denton as she is our new Grade 3\/4 teacher.\u00a0 We will miss Mr. Jung and we do hope to see him as a TOC at the school.<\/p>\n
The January universal lunch menu has been posted at Simply Foods. For information on the Universal Lunch program please look under the Parent Tab of this website.<\/p>\n
On Friday our PAC has organized a pancake breakfast.\u00a0 All students are asked to please bring a reusable plate and fork.\u00a0 It may take some time to feed 540 students so please ensure that your child does eat breakfast before coming to school. A huge thank you to Superstore for their generous donations of pancake mix and syrup.<\/p>\n
Also on Friday we are encouraging all students to wear a sports jersey in support of Ridge Meadows KidSport.\u00a0 All students are asked to bring in a $2.00 donation.\u00a0 All money donated will go to our local KidSport organizations.\u00a0 KidSport is a national organization that financially helps out families so that ALL kids can play sports.\u00a0 For more information on KidSports click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Our Lost and Found from the end of December has been put into 2 big bags at the front entrance.\u00a0 All unclaimed items will be donated to charity at the end of the week.<\/p>\n A reminder that 2024\/2025 Sibling Kindergarten registration begins this week visit here<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n
