{"id":2326,"date":"2023-05-28T20:39:22","date_gmt":"2023-05-29T03:39:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elementary.sd42.ca\/albion\/?p=2326"},"modified":"2023-05-28T20:44:48","modified_gmt":"2023-05-29T03:44:48","slug":"weekly-memo-may-29-june-2-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elementary.sd42.ca\/albion\/weekly-memo-may-29-june-2-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Memo May 29 &#8211; June 2, 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Albion Families,<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to all intermediate students for their hard work on Friday at the Albion Track and Field event.\u00a0 Over the next week Mrs. Matlock will be taking the results from this event to form the Grade 4\/5 and Grade 6\/7 teams that will represent Albion at the District Track and Field Event at MRSS.<\/p>\n<p>A reminder that on Tuesday, May 30<sup>th<\/sup> the Primary Cross-Country event will be held at the Maple Ridge Fair Grounds.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3:05 Kindergarten Girls<\/li>\n<li>3:20 Kindergarten Boys<\/li>\n<li>3:35 Grade 1 Girls<\/li>\n<li>3:45 Grade 1 Boys<\/li>\n<li>3:55 Grade 2 Girls<\/li>\n<li>4:05 Grade 2 Boys<\/li>\n<li>4:15 Grade 3 Girls<\/li>\n<li>4:20 Grade 3 Boys<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that these times are approximate.\u00a0 Parents are asked to check their child into the Albion tent 15 minutes before their scheduled race.<\/p>\n<p>We would also like to request that parents that park in the Albion Sports Complex parking lot and walk to the fairgrounds.\u00a0 This will hopefully split the traffic congestion on Jim Robson Way and improve traffic flow.\u00a0 We would also like to be kind neighbours and try to keep some parking available for patrons of the Planet Ice Complex.<\/p>\n<p>Cycle BC will be visiting Albion this Tuesday-Thursday.\u00a0 All participating classes are welcome to store their bikes in the courtyard on these days.
