This past Tuesday we hosted our intermediate public speaking.\u00a0 Congratulations to the following students who will represent us this week at the district event.<\/p>\n

A congratulations also goes out to our primary students who shared outstanding performances in our Spring Concert that was held on Friday.<\/p>\n
On Friday we also finished up our school wide reading challenge.\u00a0 Thank you to all families who donated money for we raised $1333.00 that will go towards our library and ADST supplies.\u00a0 A total of 6959 minutes were read over the course of the 2 weeks.\u00a0 The winning class for the most funds raised and the class with the most minutes read will be announced tomorrow.\u00a0 A huge thank you to Mrs. Evans, our PAC Vice Chair and Ms. Hughes for organizing this event.<\/p>\n

\n<\/u>We are beginning to create our classes for next year.\u00a0Please be assured that staff devote considerable time, care, and attention to this process.\u00a0This very complex and lengthy responsibility occurs over several weeks and continues into September when class placements are finalized.
\nThroughout the year, there have been many opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss each child. Staff work together to consider the following criteria very carefully:\u00a0\u00a0social emotional skills and relationships,\u00a0<\/strong>as well as learning styles, strengths, and needs.<\/strong>\u00a0Our goal is to create safe and engaging inclusive classrooms that balance these factors, as equitably as possible.
