\nOn Wednesday and Thursday some of our classes had the presenter Yukon Dan in to share his knowledge of Gold Panning and to help recognize Earth Day, Environmental Educator, Dan Mikolay from Ridge Meadows Recycling came in and present workshops on the importance of \u201cworms.\u201d
\nFamilies who ordered Primary Spring Concert tickets will receive them on Monday, so please check your child’s backpack.\u00a0 Extra tickets will be available Monday, at dismissal, in the front entrance. ( Limit 2 per family).\u00a0 Due to limited space we do ask that strollers are not brought into the gymnasium.<\/p>\n
\n<\/u><\/strong>If your child is in Grade K-6 and you know that you will be moving and will not be attending Albion in September please, ensure you let the school know by either giving us a call or by completing a Transfer Form located on the Parent Portal.<\/p>\n
\n<\/u><\/strong>We are beginning to create our classes for next year.\u00a0Please be assured that staff devote considerable time, care, and attention to this process.\u00a0This very complex and lengthy responsibility occurs over several weeks and continues into September when class placements are finalized.
\nThroughout the year, there have been many opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss each child. Staff work together to consider the following criteria very carefully:\u00a0\u00a0social emotional skills and relationships,\u00a0<\/strong>as well as learning styles, strengths, and needs.<\/strong>\u00a0Our goal is to create safe and engaging inclusive classrooms that balance these factors, as equitably as possible.
\nIf you feel there is further information to consider about your child, you may submit input to Mrs. Dailey in writing by Friday, May 26, 2023.\u00a0Please refrain from requesting specific teachers or peers by name.<\/em><\/p>\n
